SUBJECT / Process consistency

Consistency is a question of evidence

Read repeated records together without turning an apparent pattern into an unsupported explanation.

THE QUESTIONS TO KEEP

  1. What was held consistent?
  2. What changed between records?
  3. What conclusion can the evidence actually support?

01

The learning question

Repeated results are easier to discuss when records distinguish intended conditions from actual ones. Begin with the task, the reference and the variables you were authorised to observe.

02

The complete context

One successful photograph does not establish a reliable production process. A learning record can identify a pattern worth investigating while leaving its explanation open until the evidence and responsible guidance support it.

03

A record worth discussing

A comparison note can distinguish what was intended from what was actually observed. It can also name information that was not recorded. These gaps matter when deciding how much a pattern can establish. Use a private note to prepare a discussion, while leaving formal quality decisions and institutional assessment with the responsible process.
